Steven embraced 'Simplicity' to push his boundaries in visual communication with simplicity and fewer colours. Excited about its potential, he plans to explore new subjects and add more colors to take the style even further.
Mixed Media
(Illustration + Photography)
Steven loves taking photos and adding illustrations to them. He's particularly drawn to incorporating imaginary characters into his daily surroundings. Whenever he spots a good background, he snaps a photo and plans a mixed-media illustration for the future.
Comical
(Steven's signature style)
Steven's primary style, 'Comical,' has been featured in New Balance promos, editorials, and animated commercials. Inspired by artists like Jamie Hewlett and various comic book styles, this unique approach has been evolving since 2017 and remains an integral part of Steven's creative repertoire.
Cartoon
(Steven's recent experimental style before Minimal-Mono)
In June 2023, Steven experimented with a certain style, but he has since shifted his focus to developing 'Simplicity.' While the style he experimented with had great colours and characters, it didn't provide the challenge and enjoyment he was seeking.
